Experience BAC’s enhanced COBALT™ immersion cooling system at Data Centre World 2026

Heist-op-den-Berg, Belgium – February 2026 — At Data Centre World at ExCeL London, BAC will showcase its complete COBALT™ immersion cooling system, demonstrating how BAC’s immersion cooling tank, powered by patented CorTex™ technology, integrates seamlessly with BAC’s outdoor heat rejection portfolio.

At the booth, visitors will gain insight into how the indoor immersion tank technology combines with evaporative, hybrid, adiabatic and dry cooling solutions to create a fully engineered cooling system for next-generation, high-density data centres.

complete indoor and outdoor cooling system

The immersion tank forms the indoor component of BAC’s COBALT™ immersion cooling systemOnly BAC integrates immersion tank technology with its extensive portfolio of outdoor heat rejection solutions.

By combining these technologies, operators can optimize both Power Usage Effectiveness (PUE) and Water Usage Effectiveness (WUE), aligning cooling strategies with site-specific sustainability targets.

The design eliminates the need for chillers and minimizes maintenance requirements, contributing to lower total cost of ownership.

new standard in immersion cooling performance

BAC’s enhanced immersion cooling tank is engineered to deliver consistent, high-performance operation with minimal maintenance.

Its patented design prevents leaks and maintains dielectric fluid integrity, ensuring stable and dependable operation over time. The fully sealed, filter-free configuration eliminates routine maintenance and removes the need for regular fluid handling, significantly simplifying operational management. Redundant pumps are integrated to support high uptime and operational continuity in mission-critical applications.

Designed to support 19” and 21” server widths and depths up to 1200 mm, the system delivers flexible infrastructure integration within a compact footprint compared to conventional air-cooled designs. The tank enables exceptional efficiency levels with a Power Usage Effectiveness (PUE) of up to 1,05.

The tanks are now available in multiple configurations16RU, 32RU, 38RU and 48RU, enabling operators to maximize rack density and accommodate a broad range of immersion-ready servers.

Built for AI and High-Density Computing

As AI, machine learning and accelerated computing workloads continue to drive rack power densities upward, data centres require scalable, future-ready cooling solutions. BAC’s immersion cooling tank supports higher-powered servers and greater rack densities while enabling sustainable operations.

By delivering a fully integrated cooling systemfrom in-tank heat capture to optimized outdoor heat rejection, BAC reinforces its vision to reinvent cooling for a world that depends on reliable, efficient and sustainable data centre infrastructure.

Visit BAC at Data Centre World, stand F25, to discover how the COBALT™ immersion cooling system sets a new benchmark for reliability, efficiency and high-density performance.
