SPAL Poised to Meet Cooling Needs of Data Centre Boom
SPAL Brushless Drive Water Pump
Focusing on its brushless drive water pumps, which are key to enhance the efficient cooling of data centre systems, SPAL will be reprising its attendance at Data Centre World in March 2026.
The pumps, which are designed for the effective thermal management of high-demand stationary applications like data centres, are software driven (CAN, PWM and LIN compatible) which allows for precise temperature control and delivery of the coolant. Consuming less power than traditional pumps, they are very energy efficient while the IP6K9K certified brushless technology provides protection against overload, reverse polarity and overvoltage.

As well as presenting the rest of its globally renowned range of thermal management solutions, encompassing high performance fans and blowers; SPAL will be highlighting the importance of always fitting like for like components when the time comes for replacement.

James Bowett, General Manager at SPAL UK, comments: “In a world where costs are constantly under pressure, it’s false economy to opt for cheaper parts as this will not only affect the performance of the component itself, but the entire suite of parts within a system.  The only way to ensure effective, reliable, long-life operation is to replicate the set up installed at the point of manufacture. That means choosing the best calibre parts throughout.”

Designed with quality at its core, SPAL products carry a market leading 4-year manufacturer’s warranty, providing reassurance especially in the case of data centres where proactive thermal management is needed to protect sensitive electronics from overheating and system failure.

With the proliferation of data centres in the UK to service the rise of AI and cloud computing, and the challenges of keep them running efficiently, SPAL’s long experience in cooling innovation makes them the perfect partner.  In addition to smart controlled brushless fans and pumps to maintain airflow and precise temperature management, SPAL brings unrivalled expertise to bear in the wider sphere of optimising resources such as energy consumption and water usage.
