What industry trends and tech developments are you most looking forward to seeing/discussing at this year’s show

The key trends and developments we are keen to discuss are the concept of providing an end-to-end solution, not just providing a cooling solution for a data centre, but also the smart control and lifecycle support. As we move into a new AI-driven world of data centres, technologies will need to adapt and change in how we cool higher-density data centres, whilst still having in mind that power usage and energy efficiency are key priorities for a DC operator.

What are some of the biggest challenges facing your industry in 2026?

The biggest challenges for the DC industry are the transition to AI-driven data centres that increase the chip density in racks. We need to find methods to transition from legacy thinking in the way that we cool and operate our data centres and adopt newer technologies like liquid cooling. In addition, we also have the challenge of looking at how we address the full lifecycle of a DC, whilst technologies and innovations in the vertical move and change at a fast pace.

What excites you most about your industry right now?

The most exciting thing about the DC industry right now is the pace at which change is happening, and how we can adapt and bring new innovative products and solutions to the market. I would say the best piece of advice for newcomers to the industry would be strap yourself in! This is an exciting fast paced and growing market sector.
