TES Power expands leadership team to meet rising customer demands across the data centre market
Bringing more than three decades
of experience in the electrical and power solutions industry, Michael has built
his career from the ground up and has worked with several leading
infrastructure organisations.
Beginning his career as an
electrical apprentice in 1993, he has since progressed through a range of
technical, operational and leadership roles, working across large-scale
manufacturing and global critical infrastructure projects in the UK, Ireland
and the United States.
Throughout his career, Michael
has played a pivotal role in developing advanced manufacturing capabilities,
leading major expansion programmes and establishing new production facilities
to meet growing demand in the global data centre and energy markets. His
hands-on approach and deep technical expertise have consistently delivered
enhanced quality and sustained business growth.
Michael joined TES Power in 2022
as General Manager of the company’s 300,000 sq. ft. Data Centre Campus in
Ballykelly. Since then, he has overseen a complete site transformation from
full refurbishment works to the introduction of modern manufacturing processes,
and new product capabilities. Under his leadership, the site has become a
centre of excellence for switchgear and off-site manufacturing of modular
electrical rooms, supporting TES Power’s expansion in high-demand data centre
and critical power markets.
Powering the next phase of growth
As Managing Director, Michael will lead TES Power’s strategy to further strengthen its position as a trusted provider of reliable, future-ready power solutions. His priorities include continuing to grow TES Power’s global presence, investing in advanced manufacturing, and fostering a culture of integrity, safety and continuous improvement.
“I’m
incredibly proud to take on the role of Managing Director at TES Power at such
an exciting time for the business.
Having
started my career as an apprentice, I know first-hand the importance of
investing in people, developing skills and building teams that can deliver
consistently for customers. Over the last few years, we’ve transformed our Data
Centre Campus into a modern, highly capable manufacturing hub that is
supporting critical data centre and power infrastructure projects around the
world.
My focus
now is to build on that momentum – continuing to enhance our capabilities, to
ensure TES Power remains a partner of choice for clients who need reliable,
innovative and future-ready power solutions.”
