For ambient installations up to - 60°C, the design of GBE power transformers is made with appropriate mechanical and constructive features and special epoxy resin. The technology and the know-how achieved

by GBE enable them to manufacture power transformers with very high harmonic content. GBE power transformers have been tested and certified by universally known certification authorities on routine, type and special tests according the standards in force and customer requirements.

MEDIUM VOLTAGE TAPPING AND VARIATION TAP CHANGERS:

The adjustment or variation of primary voltage is done with external tap changers on the front side of the winding with the variation of voltage by off load transformer or with OLTC (On Load Tap Changer) that allow to tap while the transformer is on-load. The OLTC tap changers are equipped with all accessories

according to the customer specification.

HOUSINGS FOR CAST RESIN POWER TRANSFORMERS:

Cast resin transformers can be supplied with protection housings made of hot dip galvanized steel or stainless steel for indoor and outdoor installation with a degree of protection up to IP23. Depending on the rating voltages, different solutions are developed in close contact with our customers technical department. Housings can be supplied disassembled and include a sloping roof, ventilation louvers in case of outdoor, installations. Upon request, all housings can be supplied with self-bearing basement.

All transformers are tested in our test room according IEC 60076 standards. All the instruments have ACCREDIA Certification, giving us the possibility to have external survey with RINA, CESI, DNV, Lloyd's Register and others, to certify our test reports.
