Alex Winward ACMA, CGMA is a senior Finance and Data executive with more than 30 years’ experience leading large scale transformation across major financial institutions. Beginning her career through an apprenticeship, Alex has built a distinguished track record in finance, data strategy, and enterprise change, holding senior roles at Bank of America and Lloyds Banking Group. As Director of the Finance Data & Analytics Office at Lloyds Banking Group, she leads over 300 data professionals and is accountable for the strategic direction, governance, and delivery of data, AI, and analytics across the Finance Division. Her leadership has driven a new divisional operating model, strengthened data quality and governance, and accelerated adoption of AI, generative BI, and automation across the organisation. Externally recognised as a Top 20 Woman in Data and an Access Role Model.
