Dr Andrew Bolster leads the Data Science team at Black Duck Software, where he focuses on AI/ML applications in cybersecurity and the safe deployment of large language models at enterprise scale. With a PhD in autonomous systems from the University of Liverpool, he bridges academic research with practical industry applications. Bolster is founder of Farset Labs hackerspace, treasurer of BSides Belfast, and serves on multiple AI ethics committees. His speaking topics include data science onboarding, AI explainability, and the responsible use of machine learning in production environments.
