Speakers

Babak is the founding president of SDEA, a non-profit platform for verified datacentre sustainability. He is a Professor in the School of Computer and Communication Sciences and the founding director of EcoCloud, an industrial/academic consortium at EPFL in Lausanne, Switzerland, investigating sustainable cloud and datacentre technologies. He has made numerous contributions to server design and evaluation with impact on commodity digital platforms. He is a Fellow of ACM and IEEE.
