Fahad has over 20 years of experience in risk management within the financial services industry.   He is currently the Head of Operational Risk Management at ICBC. Previously, he served as the Head of Operational Risk and Head of Operational Resilience at Daiwa Capital Markets. Fahad has held senior risk positions at SMBC, HSBC, Deutsche Bank, QBE Insurance, and NEX, where his expertise covered cyber, information security, third-party risk, and regulatory compliance.  He holds an MSc in Information Systems from the London School of Economics, a BS in Computer Science from the University of Karachi, and a risk management qualification from Harvard Business School.
