Freddie Turner is Managing Director of EMEA at Chalice, where she is building one of Europe's first AI-driven sell-side decisioning platforms for digital advertising. As one of the few women leading an AI advertising technology business in Europe, Freddie has positioned Chalice around transparency, accountability, and trust - launching the industry's first AI transparency checklist to help brands interrogate how their AI systems operate. Prior to adtech, Freddie spent several years working in agencies before transitioning to MiQ, a programmatic media business where she led the UK business over six years. At MiQ, she grew the business 200% and built a £10m agency partnership model. In 2023, while on maternity leave, she was recognised as Tech Leader of the Year at The Women in Tech Awards and was a finalist for AdTech Personality of the Year at The Wires Awards. Freddie serves on the executive committee of WACL (Women in Advertising, Communication and Leadership), where she co-leads the partnerships' function, generating funding to support gender equality across the industry. She has been mentoring women in adtech for over five years through Bloom and is a regular speaker on AI innovation, transparency, and leadership.
