Jesubukade is a data science researcher with a strong interest in the ethical and responsible use of artificial intelligence. As a Graduate student at Teesside University, his work focuses on advancing transparency, accountability, and explainability in AI systems, with a particular concern for how these technologies affect underserved populations. His research work integrates data-driven methodologies with critical perspectives on algorithmic accountability and explainable AI. Jesubukade is a 2024 Fellow of the Scholarly Society for Publishing (SSP) and the 2025 recipient of the NISO Global Online Scholarship, recognising his leadership in promoting ethical data and information practices. His research bridges the technical and social dimensions of AI, emphasizing inclusion, justice, and public trust. Through his academic and professional efforts, he aims to contribute to building AI systems that are transparent, accountable, and designed to serve all communities responsibly.
