Kevin Cassar is a Chief Data and AI officer with experience in delivering data-led business value across different business sectors including Telecoms, Insurance and Financial regulators. He transformed data functions into high performing, award winning teams that deliver data products aligned to business strategic values. As Chief Data & AI Officer at TalkTalk, Kevin leads the enterprise data and AI strategy where he is embedding a data driven culture across the organisation. His leadership focuses on enhancing customer experience, accelerate value delivery, and improve data foundations through ensuring responsible AI practices and robust governance frameworks. Previously at AXA Health, Kevin led global data teams that unlocked commercial benefits through improved operational efficiencies, reduced costs, optimised policy prices and preventing fraud through leveraging AI methods. He also upskilled multi-disciplinary teams and established a culture of innovation and excellence supported by using industry best in class methods. At the Financial Conduct Authority, Kevin was instrumental in building a new department from concept to full operation and delivered AI solutions that helped prevent fraud and AML risk across the UK financial system.
