Matthew Nudd
UK Partnership Manager,
Eurovent
Matthew Nudd helps data centre teams replace hopeful claims with trustworthy cooling performance data, so decisions stand up in the real world.
Matthew’s background spans HVACR, controls and building energy technologies, with a specialism in integrating systems so they perform as intended in real world conditions. From end users to major contractors, he’s supported stakeholders across the construction landscape, helping them navigate the practical challenges of making interconnected systems work. He’s recognised for translating technical, cross discipline detail into clear decisions for buyers, engineers, and specifiers.
Today, Matthew is UK Partnership Manager at Eurovent Certification, building practical partnerships across the UK HVACR ecosystem to put independently verified performance at the heart of specification and operations. His current focus is the data centre sector, collaborating with OEMs, consultants, and operators on the role of certification in risk management, specification clarity, and total cost of ownership.
Previously Head of Commercial Heating at Carrier, he led specialist teams across Industrial Decarbonisation & Energy Performance, Public Sector Decarbonisation and District Heating, before serving as Data Centre Key Account Manager. Having seen how weak input data can derail energy models and widen the gap between design and actual performance, he’s committed to improving data quality, clarity, and operator education, helping mission critical sites avoid avoidable OPEX surprises.
