Philip McMath, Senior Account Manager at Caterpillar, is a senior industry expert with more than 25 years of experience in power generation, mission critical infrastructure, and new energy technology integration. He has played a key role in designing and delivering resilient backup power solutions for large hyperscale and colocation data centres. Philip’s work focuses on accelerating deployment speed through standardized, modular architectures and advancing sustainability through efficient engine technology, demand response participation, and emerging hybrid solutions. With deep regional experience across Europe, Africa, and the Middle East—as well as active involvement in multiple regulatory technical committees—he brings a unique perspective on how agility, performance, and technology can coexist in next generation data centre energy design.
