Stephen is an accomplished information and cyber security risk executive, and international speaker with 25+ years of experience working for global firms across financial services, healthcare, and defence (HSBC, RBS, GSK) at group level. Stephen’s experience of global regulatory and cyber security frameworks has driven execution and implementation for the management of risks to support business strategies. He supports the wider industry and academia through his board membership of Research Institute for Sociotechnical Cyber Security (RISCS), and advisory member of ISC2 UK cyber security council, and other executive groups. Stephen is former Chairman of White Hat Ball which is a Cyber Security charity supporting the amazing work performed by NSPCC Childline in the protection of vulnerable young people. He is recipient of the European Cyber Security Hall of Fame Award for contribution to Industry by his peers. Stephen' current role is Chief Information Security Officer at Cognizant Technology Services, protecting top tier companies from cyber risks covering UKI, EMEA, and APAC across all industry verticals.
