This session will highlight pumping systems and include providing redundancy by avoiding VFD bypasses and reducing carbon footprint and minimizing first cost savings. We will also review permanent magnet motors and reducing embodied and operational carbon within a coolant distribution unit (CDU) or liquid cooled facility. Finally, we will touch in the importance of understanding the fluid properties to ensure proper heat transfer. As approach temperature from the CDU to cooling source are ever so important, we will look at strategies to ensure we meet the clients performance.
