Scaling Circularity: How to create a Resilient, High-Value Data Centre Infrastructure

04 Mar 2026
Design and Build & Physical Security

The AI-fuelled 'gold rush' has exposed a systemic bottleneck: current linear models prioritise rapid hardware replacement over long-term sustainability, creating resource security risks and accelerating waste.

This panel explores how to create a Circular Data Centre Infrastructure Strategic Roadmap to transform end-of-life physical assets, including waste heat, into new revenue streams that strengthen the resilience of the digital economy.

Drawing on insights from the DICE Network+, experts will discuss critical levers: Smarter Design for value retention, Maximised Recovery through asset recirculation, and Systemic Collaboration to reshape policy and procurement. Discover how the data centre industry is already developing the building blocks and good practice; shifting from a narrow focus on cost to a holistic view of value.
